Well after a nights rest but n o rain overnight though, we woke early and by 09.30 the valeting truck turned up and the guy started work. First a good spray with some cleaner and then a good wash down followed by wax polish and after 90 minutes the job was done and the van looks great except the nose hitch cover and tyre covers look pretty bad and so will have to be replaced as they are beginning to look mouldy.
The sun was shining pretty much most of the time and it was warm when the sun was out but as soon as it disappeared behind the clouds it was sweater time again. Noels knees were beginning to react against the rather heavy use over the pas week and he was struggling a bit and so we decided to have a day around the caravan and enjoy the superb views over the hills. We chatted to some neighbours who had only in the last few months taken possession of a reasonable size campervan/motor home and we discussed their experience's around Scotland whilst getting used to the new van which was quite interesting.
Actually it was lucky we were at home, so to speak, in the afternoon as Noel had a bad reaction to something eaten earlier and it may have been the cucumber in the sandwich from yesterday. Its not really possible sometimes to tie down the actual cause but it does make life a big challenge sometimes.
A light dinner tonight of fresh salmon, well actually frozen, and veggies and it was most enjoyable. In the evening I watched the Piers Morgan interview with Pres Trump and I must say I was a little surprised how good he was. As I have only seen him at rally’s where his demeanour and and approach is very different. I hope they Democrats don't try to impeach him as its again shooting one self in the foot again. After their original attempts to ‘big’ him up on the basis he could not possibly wine and look what happened.
Oh well its the Canadian F1 Grand Prix this weekend and lets hope we can tune in to get it. Oh well off to an early bed.
