We left Moyaux at around 10.00 and headed of via Caen to St Malo where we arrived using the coast road which is quite interesting. There are nice bits and and not so attractive bits in this part of the Brittany and we mosied around for a while eventually arriving in St Malo, the old walled city, at around lunchtime.
After walking through town for a while we came across a cafe we knew from our last visit where this time we had an excellent Club Sandwich with some absolutely amazing ice cream, some of the best we have had in years.
In the afternoon we wandered around the city walls and watched the kids learning to sail in the bay whilst there were quite a few people sunbathing as well.
We left the walled city around 4pm and then headed up along the coast road for about tywo hours before finally arriving at our Hotel see link called.http://www.tirel-guerin.com/?lang=en
This is a very nice Hotel and really not a drench feel and more of a London Hotel style but most enjoyable all the same.
We tested the bar for a pre dinner drink and then sat down to a very nice meal with a french gay waiter who had until recently worked in Windsor, its a small world.
This was a nice day with great weather
