4th June- Lunch at the Chateau

We took it easy this morning and had a slow start with breakfast in the Hotel before commencing a slow country drive to the zoo and château. The Chateau
We arrived at about 11.30 and this gave us time to wander around for a while and take some photos before meeting our friends for lunch.It was alight lunch and then we continued our tour of the site looking at Lions and Tigers plus all kinds of wildlife before sitting down to watch the birds of prey show.
This was excellent and with an amazing choice of birds and Noel regretted not bringing his long lens, oh well perhaps next time.

the show lasted about 45 mins and then it was time to leave as we wanted to go to a caravan accessory shop in Caen where we hoped to purchase some Isabella awning parts but we were quite disappointed as they did not have anything that was really suitable. So it looks like we have to order from Uk and perhaps one of our friends can handle the shipping onward via courier to us over the next week.

The sun was still shining when we arrived back at the site but we were both rather tired and after a light snack we went both went to bed about 22.00 for a good nights rest.
