Having walked about five miles yesterday we decided to have a slow day. After the full groves breakfast of home prepared bacon, fried eggs , mushrooms and tomatoes together with toast and coffee Jen did some washing whilst I did some planning for the next couple of weeks.
This morning it is grey and it started raining quite heavily and so the tourist bit was out and after sorting out some photos etc we headed off to the British Emporium in Grapevine to purchase some genuine English tea bags as our supply is beginning to run a little low and it might be difficult elsewhere to find.
The British Emporium has been operating for over 20 years and an area wher there appears to be quite a bit of money based upon the houses surrounding the area. We changed the Sat Nav settings to avoid motorways and this way we could travel via the quiet and more interesting areas of Dallas.
We also did a little grocery shopping and ended up going to the cinema to see the latest Bourne film which was extremely good if not a little confusing. The cinema was not of the best quality but for £ 2.00 for two one cannot complain.
We hate the smell of the food that people seem to think is necessary to have when watching a film from hot dogs to half a ton of popcorn of which half ends up on the floor where it seems to remain for the rest of the night, ugggh.
After the cinema back to the hotel via the side-streets where we decided to have a ham salad which was most enjoyable and then an evening of listening to music on our I pods.
