The morning weather was not bad and and of course with a late check out offered we did not leave the Hotel until just about 11.00 as the distance to Osaka is very short and by Motorway would be about an hour.
On the day before when we were on the Hop On-Hop Off bus we went through a couple areas which were nice but we did not get off and as we had time this morning we decided to go back there in the car and take some video which will be available on on the Smug Mug Photo Album. So after packing the suitcases and getting the car from the parking garage we drove via Sanomiya Station up toward the hilly part at the back of Kobe and not far from where you can get the ropeway ( cable car) to the top of the mountain. I must admit the though of rope holding up a cable car would not be good for my health and wellbeing.
So then we took the slow roads to Osaka and stopping for lunch at a Lawsons, where you can trust the sandwiches, and eventually arrived at the Miyako Sheraton Hotel in Osaka where Noel dropped the luggage and Jennifer and then went to find the car park which entailed driving completely around the building again and then nearly ending up in the wrong car park but then in the end we parked close to the Hotel Door no realising that the Hotel reception was on the 2mnd floor, the same level as the car park.
For some reason or another neither of us had slept well the previous night and so we decided to have a quiet restful afternoon and then went looking for a supermarket shown on Google only we could not find it and eventually we found another one where we purchased some Sushi for Noel and a Chicken salad for Jennifer which we enjoyed with a glass of Chardonnay.
The we both had a quiet evening as we plan a tourist day out tomorrow.
