As it happens today it is rather overcast but still warm and a promise of some rain which only partly materialised. So Jennifer went off shopping by herself to get another mouse mat or two and then spent a few minutes in the ‘Ladies market’ and considered buying a couple of things but we look like tourist and so the price is tripled and then offer a 10 per cent discount, anyway Jennifer did not by anything. In the afternoon Jennifer went off to the rood swimming pool for a couple of hours whilst Noel wrestled with OPODO the travel who booked our flights to arrange to add our middle names to the airline computer and finally after speaking to them and holding for a great length of time , almost one hour fifteen minutes, and having been transferred from somewhere ion darkest India to Barcelona where Opodo Management is they said they would try if I would send them copies of our passports, Lets see what happens.
Tomorrow the longest bridge in the world opens from Hong Kong to Zuhai China via Macau and is 35 miles long and cost £15.3 billion quid and will be used for trucks, containers, buses and only the odd approved private car and of course this has caused some political unrest here in Hong Kong as there are needful border crossings and together with the new high speed rail link to Guangzhou there is a strong feeling that China is trying to exert even more power over Hong Kong.
