Saturday 20th May2017- Gosh its quiet here

Where is everybody? The site is almost empty apart from us and one other motor home which is unusual compared to our past visits.
However, the usual bright sunny morning followed all days but sun and rain and it’s a bit like April showers really. Nevertheless we went in to Courmeilles to buy some fish and ot
her food items for the weekend and its will give us a a chance to spend the day on site as the weather should be better, a BBQ perhaps??? We shall or even a swim.
I am not sure if I have previously mentioned the help we received from the co-manager of the site a late twenties chap who helped us put up the awning as Noels strength is still lacking after all the operations and other attempts to ruin his body beautiful. Anyway as a thank you for his help we have invited him and his girlfriend the other co-manager over for a BBQ on Monday night  and part of our shopping trip today was to suss out what we would be the menu for the night. His girlfriend and co-manager is a very attractive Tunisian girl called Hasir but she does not eat pork naturally and so we have to adapt our BBQ food accordingly. So we have purchased some wine at least and will do the rest of our shopping on Monday morning as we don’t want to fill up our smallish fridge with stuff we don’t need until then.
The afternoon was spent relaxing and reading and catching up with Blogging etc and reading about Trump and his visit to Saudi whilst Rome burns at home.  Maybe I am wrong but a good relationship between USA and Russia can only be good whilst the Clintonians don’t like this at all and of course Trump removing the boss of the FBI has not gone down to well although In my personal view it was a good decision.
Looks like I will miss the last game of the Chelsea season and after winning the premier league it would have been good to watch, I could record it at home but it will be well past its sell by date when we get home to watch it.
So its fresh salmon tonight for dinner and finishing with an apple tart (French style of course).

It’s also the start of the Le Mans 24 Hour race today at 1600 and so will check out the site TV tomorrow afternoon and see if they have it live. Also next weekend is the Monaco F1 race and also the Indianapolis 500 so plenty to catch up on if its showing.
