Well the days are flashing by it seems and we have less than two weeks left in this house before moving on to see friends and then flying home. The sun was shining most of the day yesterday and so it was time to relax after catching up with emails and blogs. Noel took a few photos of the ‘Turkey Vultures’ which settle for roosting every night in trees across the river although I do not get to close due to the proximity of a rather large alligator which swims past the house quite frequently.
However we did get up early to watch the Australian Grand Prix on ESPN Replay, as they call it, as the race was due to take place around midnight Florida time and that is not when we want to be gutting up in the middle of the night. Not a bad race really and Ferrari lack of performance was a surprise and the other surprise was the McLaren going better. I still think that they should have stayed with Honda as the Red Bulls are doing better with Honda than the Renault team and also McLaren with Renault engines, only time will tell. Bottas did well but I don't think it will last as Hamilton is much better than him.
Jennifer is still working on the embroidery and is nearly finished and so while she was doing that Noel watched the football where Everton beat them, a disaster of game. After the game we both had a swim and demolished rather a large sirloin steak which was enough for three but we did leave some for a sandwich at a later date.
In the evening we watched the film ‘The Sweeney’ which was quite good and its nice to watch a British made film than watching American Films.
It appears there will be a US Investigation in to the affairs of the Clinton's and the Clinton foundation finally and this will take place as the preparation for the 2020 elections, should be interesting to see what they do .
And so an early night
