We arrived at the station on time and waited for the train to be ready and then in a cloud of smoke we departed with about nine stops en route to Bishops Lydeard. We got off the train at a place called Watchet and walked through the small town to the port and then back through the town for lunch in a little cafe. We all had a good lunch and then back to the train which wandered through the countryside and finally arrived at Bishops, for short. There is actually not to much to do in Bishops and so we waited a short while and jumped on the train going back and we arrived in Minehead and then off back to the house in Dunster for the evening.

A really lovely day out and we were all tired and so we left early to get back to the caravan by which time it-had started raining and at times it was quite heavy.
By the time we got back to the caravan the wind blowing was blowing quite a gale as this was the leftover from the bad weather that badly hit the East Coast of the USA and and had drifted over the Atlantic and we were in its way. By about 11 pm as we were thinking of going to bed the wind seemed to be getting worse and the awning was now in trouble and so eventually we gave in and went outside in the rain and strong wind and pulled the awning down and stuffed it in to the Land Cruiser and the poles underneath.
Oh well that's another job for tomorrow
