It was an early departure at around 0630 on Friday morning when we left Weybridge and headed off in the dark to Dover Harbour where were able to catch an earlier ferry than planned.. The drive from Calais to our Hotel was completed successfully and we arrived just after 3 pm and in time to go for a walk and test some Gluewine and a nice German Sausage whilst continuing our tour of the market although it did include a number of stops for necessary beers.
We had dinner in an Italian restaurant where the food was very good and then planned for the next days activities and after a brief nightcap, or two, at the Ibis Hotel we headed up to bed and slept well. The bathroom in this Hotel is smaller than the one in our caravan and is therefore not one we would stay at again.
