Well its almost six weeks since we returned from Florida and we have been catching up ever since.
We still have the problem with the Central heating system losing pressure and so we had to call the guys back again with their sophisticated equipment for them to find out where the problem is and this time they found it but nowhere where they suspected in the first visit. Anyway they found two places it was leaking, one in a joint and the other a small hole which had appeared perhaps through the pipe rubbing something??? maybe an ant.
Its that usual time of year where the bill pile up and you have to pay for car tax and insurance and also servicing, caravan insurance and servicing and so the bills mount up, nasty stuff really.
During the last three weeks we have started to scan all our old photographs and transparencies to put them on the Groves Photo Website so that when we want to find a photo, we can rather than search through drawers and packets of film.We have scanned well over two thousand photos and transparencies, some were easy to find out where and when they were taken but other not and so that is a challenge and still a long way to go.
Talking about challenges, I have this thing about the way they plastic wrap either food or commodities to the point it is almost impossible to open the packet and I first noticed this on a flight back Copenhagen some years ago when they handed out the food we were given small packets of cheese biscuits which were impossible to open. The guy across the isle from me after about ten minutes attacking the package gave up and through it on the floor upon where the packet broke open, what to say,
Another thing that is annoying me at the moment is Mr Tony Blair and some of his cahoot's who want another referendum on Brexit because this did not like the first answer, which is not a good reason to start this all over again. The people have spoken and the Politician feel that they should have made the decision and not the general public, idiots!!
We have decided to go to Holland and visit the bulb fields between the 4th and 11th April whilst Noel awaits the results of his six monthly check ups tests. and so we have a couple of nights near the bulb fields and also visit delft and a couple of other places recommended to us by friends who lived there for some years. Bot sure the weather will be good however and will have to wait and see..
Whilst writing this blog have scanned another dozen or so transparencies and must keep going!!
